I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hazelcast (London, England) in Sep 2022
Interview
Initial call and then a technical interview.
Passed both with very positive remarks. Then did a tech test and a walkthrough the test with a bunch of engineers. Past that as well. Was deemed fit for the role for the team that interviewed me.
Then it dragged on for a few days, to be told that I had to be interviewed by another team.
This time the interview was not on my programming skills but DevOps skills, was only told this at the start of the interview. This new team which I wasn't going into decided that I didn't have the DevOps skills.
And the end of the process.
Il peggior colloquio mai fatto, l' intervistatore sembrava disinteressato e faceva domande chiaramente "standard" senza entrare in empatia con la persona intervistata, rispondendo alle varie domande l' intervistatore diceva solo "Sure" "ok" "well", alla fine del colloquio né in seguito non ho ricevuto alcun feedback costruttivo per l' intervista, i colloqui si passano o non si passano ed è ok ma bisogna sempre dare un feedback su cosa non è andato bene.
