Typical resume review. Asked questions about experience and one DEI at the end. The interviewer was very nice and the questions were all expected and fair. Not much to say beyond that.

Tell a story about a time you stood up for someone with less privilege.
First round phone screen then went to an on-site interview. Mostly architecture questions. Thought the interview was relatively easy. I liked talking to the interviewer and asked him a lot of questions as well.

Interview
Applied and was contacted by the recruiter for a phone screening. He asked the standard questions about my work experience and background, then told me he'd send me a technical take home challenge. It was all SQL since the company uses Rails without ActiveRecord.
I submitted it and heard back a week later that they were not moving forward. I was pretty confident in my answers so I asked if it was because of my answers or if it was due to culture fit. Never got an answer back but I saw on my email tracker it was read. Even if they couldn't say why, at least respond with that, especially during this tough job market and pandemic we're in.
