I had a total of 5 interviews for this position, over the course of nearly 2 months, all of which went well. They were unable to provide a salary range for the role. On the fifth and final interview (first with HR), I was told that Helium/Nova Labs wanted to proceed with my candidacy; however, due to my location being outside of North America for the next few months, they wanted to pay me based on a local, European salary - which was much below half of market value for the position ($32K USD). Mere hours after affirming that my pay should reflect my experience, primary residence, and market value for the position, I was told that they were proceeding with a different candidate. Overall: My experience was long, unorganized, and opaque.
