I had an initial interview at the South Melbourne office. The interview lasted approximately an hour. It was clear that the interviewer had not bothered to read my resume prior to the interview as her questions were quite generic and covered what was already in the resume. I was then emailed a few days later for a second interview to meet with another two people. Prior to the interview, I was asked to fill out a very detailed police check which I thought was a little strange, as this is usually done when a decision is made to appoint someone. The interview lasted for 1 1/2 hours. The questions were similar to the first interview and they also offered to show me around the office. After the interview, they asked for my references which were being conducted by email. They only sent the questions to one of my references. At this point, they went completely silent. I called and emailed them at least five times over the next few weeks to understand what was going on. My emails were never answered, and calls were never returned. To this day, I have never been provided with any feedback. In hindsight, I am happy I didn't get the job, but absolutely appalled by their lack of professionalism. It's a shame that they can get away with this type of treatment of prospective employees.
