I interviewed briefly over the phone with the recruiter then received an onsite interview within a week with the hiring manager. It was a very pleasant and candid conversation of what was needed, and the standard behavior questions were asked. I received fantastic communication throughout weeks following regarding job verification, reference checks and background checks. It took approximately 20 days from start to finish and I was offered the position. However, the medical benefits were approximately $3000 above industry standard, and $5000 more than I was currently paying annually. The position did not have a budget that was able to cover the difference in out-of-pocket premiums I would have to take on, so I had to decline.
