I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hexis Technology Hub (Lisbon, Lisbon District) in Jul 2018
Interview
I was interviewed by a recruiter, she made questions related with my CV, my motivations and what I look for in a company. She also explained the job and talked about Hexis. The job description was very good, both on soft-skills and hard-skills requirements.
I was very impressed to know they look to CVs, Linkedin, Github, StackOverflow, Twitter and in the meetUp Platform. They really what to know the candidate, you can see they make a serious investment in the recruitment process.
After this phase, I received a technical test to execute at my place and I had 4 days to deliver my answers.
The day after my reply to the technical test I was contact to meet with the technical team. We talked for 1hour and a half and we had a conversation about my test and we did some code. It was a good exercise. In the end of the technical interview they explained the project they currently have from a technical point of view, so I ended up by having a better understating of company business model and the type of customers they have.
after 2 days I received an offer. The process moved fast, the people how interviewed me were humble and honest which is hard to find. The technical test was hard and it was great to have the opportunity to talk about my answers (this way I was able to learn more).
