      I interviewed at Hippocratic AI

      Interview

The conversations with leadership were the highlight. Talking directly with execs about the mission — building safety-focused AI to expand access to healthcare — made the "why" of the company tangible in a way that no career page can. They were direct about the ambition, honest about the challenges, and asked sharper questions than I expected. That's when I knew I wanted to join. The interviewers across the rest of the loop were the other standout. Sharp, thoughtful, and clearly senior in their domains. The technical and case rounds were substantive without being adversarial — people seemed more interested in how I thought than in catching me out. Several conversations turned into genuinely interesting back-and-forths, which is rare in interview loops. The process itself was multi-stage — more than five rounds, which sounds heavy on paper but actually felt well-paced and purposeful. Each conversation had a clear focus, and I never sat through a round that felt redundant. Total time from first call to offer was reasonable. The recruiting experience deserves a real shout-out. The recruiting team is responsive, prepared, honest about timelines, and genuinely invested in making the experience smooth. Real prep guidance before each round (not the generic "just be yourself" kind), check-ins at the right moments, and a clear sense of advocacy for both the candidate and the team. If recruiting is the first signal of how a company treats people, Hippocratic sets a very high bar.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hippocratic AI in Mar 2026

      Interview

Process from start to finish was about 1 month. Recruiter was great. 1 round was HM on a Saturday. Then 1 panel round with a case study, real life example breakdown on how to strategically expand into a new space. Then crickets. The entire process felt disorganized with rescheduled sessions and logistical errors. The case study felt like training material and sharing ideas on how to do this new thing. I would not recommend any strong candidates wasting your talent on this process.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hippocratic AI

      Interview

Had a fairly positive experience up until I met one of the cofounders and head of product. He showed up 7 minutes late to a 30 min interview, which the company insisted on scheduling outside of working hours. He was unapologetic about the timing and not very engaged. I asked him some basic questions about healthcare and roll out strategies and he wasn’t able to be honest about any challenges a company of this size would typically face. I decided to end the interview process after meeting with him. Would recommend some basic interview training and a little more honesty.
