The interview involved discussions around my data analysis projects and my approach towards solving business level problems. The interviewer focused on understanding my skillset and how it could be useful if I were offered a position.

The interview process was unnecessarily lengthy. There were a total of 5 interviews: phone screen, interview with hiring manager, interview with senior analyst, interview with the Director of Product, & finally a take-home assignment that I had to present to the senior analyst in a video call. They provided less than 2 days to do a thorough analysis and put together an executive-level presentation. During the presentation, the senior analyst was still not satisfied. He said the presentation was missing info and should have been “exhaustive.” Absolutely unreasonable expectations for candidates who are given limited time and resources. On top of this, the hiring manager and recruiter emphasized that I would have to work long hours in a high-stress environment. The team clearly did not value work-life balance and was not selling the role to me. After the final interview, I got no feedback from the team, despite me reaching out to the recruiter via email. Instead, a couple weeks later, I got a generic automated rejection email. Very disrespectful & inconsiderate of them. Think twice before applying at this company.
