Initial communication with this company was solely via email. They were conducting a job search that was a blind ad online. Was brought in to interview one on one with operations manager. Relaxed interview, no difficult questions were asked. Mainly covered my experience and the duties for the position applied for. It is a casual office atmosphere, jeans attire every day. Pros of the company: stability. full benefits and 401 k after 1 yr, health insurance after 90 days. Cons: Inflexible work schedule, required overtime that is unpaid due to it being a salaried position. No additional compensation discussed such as comp time or bonuses to balance out the unpaid overtime. No paid vacation time at all in the first year, mandatory vacation twice per year in Dec and July that your vacation days are automatically allotted to, if you used all the vacation before that, then it is mandatory unpaid. No paid sick days/personal days. 1 reimbursable day per quarter allowed for sickness ONLY with Dr.'s note that is credited back at the end of the quarter. Not sure what would happen if someone had a flu or bad illness that would require more than 1 day out of work. Was given form for drug testing and was told a background check would be conducted.
