How do you handle conflicts at work?

There are always 2 sides to every story but it would always wise to give equal attention to both parties to portray fairness. Have them both write down their statements and depending on the severity of the issue at hand send them home pending investigation. Then we can calmly proceed from there. This will have "cause and effect" and will also send a ripple effect with the rest of the team setting a standard on how not to act at work.
