It was with a partner and counsel and very conversation-like and pleasant. The discussion around the work itself was reasonable and informative as to what they were looking for in terms of associate knowledge.

What is a deal that you worked on which stands out to you and why.
The HAK team members are very personable and genuine. The interview process is straight forward and they were quick to schedule follow-ups. I get the feeling, however, that they do not understand senior associates at busy firms may have last-minute schedule changes as closing client calls arise. Refusing to take these calls causes suspicion at an associate's current firm.

Met with 5 attorneys, three of them were partners. It was about a two hour process, met with each attorney in their office. The associates were more casual than the partners, and always allowed room for us to ask them questions.
