      Devops Engineer Interview

      Jan 5, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hypernode in Nov 2023

      Interview

1st round with CTO and Project Manager. 2nd round technical interview with live coding test. I don't agree with live coding tests. They prove nothing in my opinion. You cannot judge from an 1 hour test if the candidate has actual knowledge and experience and can adapt to the every day working life in a company and in a specific product. As a common practice the interviewer says you do not need to solve the problem we just need to see how you are working and even if you solve the problem the common feedback as to why they will not move forward with you is that your python skills are not on the level they need. If that is the case I would suggest a more difficult test or state that you absolutely need to solve the problem in an optimized way to even be considered.

      Interview questions [1]
