I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at IG Wealth Management (Toronto, ON) in Sep 2015
Interview
Had first round interview with a recruiter. Two questions and I was in. Then, I was invited to a Career Symposium and completed an online assessment. At the Career Symposium they basically talk and you listen. You then fill out a piece of paper and state whether you are still interested in pursuing this role? I wrote that I was, but hadn't heard from them after that. Which is rather strange because I was told that I would hear from them. Oh well... I didn't think I wanted to sell to family and friends anyways.
I interviewed at IG Wealth Management (Winnipeg, MB)
Interview
The interview was smooth and lasted about 30 minutes with one role play.
Questions were tough to easy and difficulty level was increasing step by step. First interview with HR was about basic about the role and salary and the second round was with team leader.
They replied to my application very quickly and gave me a interview to discuss what I have to offer to the company. The interview overall was very straightforward and informative.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at IG Wealth Management (Moncton, NB) in Feb 2021
Interview
Long! Few interviews, endless background and credit checks.
First interview was an hour
Second interview was the same
Very invasive back ground check and credit check
They asked me to provide financial statements and attach my CRA notice of assessment
The worse part is they never got back to me with an answer after I spent hours with their inteviewers filling their endless questionnaires.
I didn't feel appreciated at all. They clearly don't respect or value their candidates time.
