This was the most interesting interview i had come across. The panel were smart and crafted a efficient way so that they can filter out true UX Designers vs Visual Designers. There was no test specifically as such.
Digital solutions for IIFL employees and customers. The head of department there is keen on design and is leveraging on design as a solution.
I was unable to accept the offer due to personal reasons. I encourage candidates to consider this company for design roles.
1. Quiz
The quiz was one of the enjoying tests that i went through. It was smartly designed to filter out Visual designers vs UX Designers.
The Quiz is a PPT with 10 slides, each slide has 2-3 screens (mobile). You have to select a screen and give reason why you selected (Usability ofcourse)
2. In-Person Round with Lead Designers
In-person round was a bit of a discussion about the quiz and some related questions about which apps you like most and why. Some questions on have you designed for mobile as my work was mostly in web. What is your design process ?
3. In-Person with Design Head
this round was mostly for checking the stability. basic
4. HR Round
basic hr round, notice period, expected package, etc.
