I had to write code on paper while explaining my thought process. You'll need to have a deep understanding of the data structures in the programming language you choose, as you will be asked why you chose a particular data structure for the problem's input or the variables you declared during the solution. The problem itself involved counting elements in an array that met a certain condition and returning that count. I performed well on this part, but the feedback I received was: "You solved the problem, and your thought process was correct. However, you were unable to answer one question properly, which indicates that you're a junior developer. Additionally, you asked for too much money. If we decide to make an offer after interviewing the remaining candidates this week, it will be for much less than what you requested."
