International Gemological Institute interview questions

They had no idea I had an interview that day. Kept asking me if I really have a interview today. From the very beginning it looked like they were unaware. Kept indicating that without experience I am not exactly eligible for the internship. I mean isn't internship a way of getting experience how is one supposed to have all the experience beforehand even for a simple internship. They made faces when they asked me if I want a stipend even though it was clearly mentioned in the JD that they would be providing a few thousands.

It was just some simple questions followed by practical on diamonds . Where they gave 5 diamonds to grade and 7 diamond jewellery to grade . They also asked questions about my experience and what do i know in this feild .
