      Graphic Designer Interview

      Mar 19, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Seattle, WA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Intersection (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2024

      Interview

I had 2 initial interviews (with a director of marketing and an art director) that went very well. Recruiter told me I'd received excellent feedback, but the hiring team needed to do their "due diligence" and interview other candidates. I waited 4 weeks for the final step, which was a 2-part design assignment that took about 8 hours. Waited another 2 weeks and was finally told I didn't get the job, and was given no explanation. A couple days later I noticed the job was reposted on multiple job boards. It appears I was turned down for nobody after a two-month-long interview process. Honestly, I have never been so disrespected in my entire 14-year career as a designer.
