The person that was supposed to conduct my 4th interview didn't show up. I reached out but received no contact until the next day.
I've never been treated this poorly in an interview process. I can sort of tolerate being blown off on the 1st interview, but by the final round, there's a mutual investment.
I reserved a conference room at my co-working space, cleared my schedule, and prepared presentation materials, and then I was made to sit there like an idiot watching the minutes count by. I tried to reach out, but I didn't hear back from anybody until the next day. And even then, it was just a few short words.
The ML world runs on reputation, more so than any other software engineering discipline. I've already spread the word about Invisible in my SF Bay Area ML groups. They should fix the gaps in your candidate experience unless you want to only hire scrubs.
