I applied online and got a call within the next half hour from "HR" and spoke about my interest in the company. Offered to meet the following day and I arrived at the office; seems descent looking but something rubbed me the wrong way...the receptionist was nice....maybe the only good thing here. There was a few employees floating around....not really doing anything. I met with a women whom I presume is the president/CEO of the company. She was very aggressive during the interview; this meeting lasted about 20 mins and she wanted me to set up a second interview. She seemed disinterested in my experience and resume all together; only asking me what my hobbies are outside of a work environment. She never went over the duties of the job or anything. I agreed to a second interview hoping it was just a fluke and that things maybe better the following day. It wasn't until the second interview that I found out it was a door-to-door sales position selling Verizon...I think they saw the disappointment on my face and shock. I remained polite and let the interview continue. The following day I received a call offering me a position. I could not in my heart take it.

The company misrepresented what the position offered really was. I applied for a management position. When I got to the interview they were looking for salespeople to go door to door selling Verizon Fios. Don’t waste your time.
- There were really no questions asked. The interview was a setup to get you into a second “interview” which was nothing more than a training session for what seems like a pyramid scheme.

Simple, scripted interview by someone younger than my own daughter. Someone was awkwardly sitting next to us... I think she said that he was shadowing the interview (?) Overall it was an odd interview for an odd job.

Phone Interview first and in person interview as a second. I applied Administrative role, bue people in there let me to do sales! I think it is kind of unrespect. Listen to me, do not do to this small company. They use face to face ways to do sales daily from 11am to 9pm. whatever position you applied, you have to do sales for starting the work in there...
- Why do you think you are qualified for this position?

Only went through first interview. Made an 1hr drive to be told about the company asked to come in next day for 2nd interview to learn about the job. Would have wished they had said more in the first interview about the actual position

They try to trick you, it is really a low level sales position (door to door verizon fios) Very lame interview process, company building is located in a rough area of pittsburgh

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Iron City Executives (Pittsburgh, PA) in May 2018
The process involves a quick 20 minute phone interview and another 20-30 minute interview with the "CEO" from chicago. After you get through that it is another 1.5 hour long intrview with the branch account managers. I only went through the second step, the first in-person interview. To sum it up it was basically 20 minutes of her trying to sell me on this great opportunity which is nothing more than 100% commission based Door-to- Door sales. "everyone starts off in the same position" she said so the job posting i applied for was not the job they were offering. I understand trying to o whatever it takes to get people into the door but there is no need to flat out lie about it. If you are not prepared to work M-F 11-9 and saturday 9-6 at no steady pay working in neighborhoods selling Verizon and Insight Energy then dont go in for any job posting. It was a complete waste of my time for someone who has 4 years of professional expierence.
- after her 20 minutes of rambling she asked .. is this the opportunity for you?

Called to offer an interview. The interview was the next day. Simple questions. Never called about the job, so I don't even know if I did not get the job.

Starting with my initial call I received from HR, I was lied to. They claimed some of the same statists as another company I interviewed with. I asked about this familiarity of another company that represents the same client told me they said THEY were responsible for the majority of that client’s marketing and sales as well and I was straight up told the other company couldn’t prove it and just wishes they could be us. I was immediately invited in for a initial interview and decided to play this out. When I went in the next afternoon I asked the lady interviewing me if she could show me how Iron City actually claimed to do what I was told they did for this client. She looked dumbfounded and said she had nothing to prove to me, but if I’m offered a position with them I’d see for myself. And then went on to ask me how I felt I could impact their business in a management role? I very immediately realized she was using some extremely unethical business practices to manipulate and trick people into thinking her company was something greater than it was. I became the dumbfounded one while walking out (I got up and said I heard enough) when I had overheard one of the secretary girls talking about having to “secret shop” other companies!!!! It’s all a lie. The entire process was a complete waste of my time and “clean”-energy. Can’t fool this guy! Better luck lying to the next person who just wants a good, honest company to work for! Do your research people! Hilary Thurmond = Iron City Executives = Dimension Marketing = SHADY

This was by far one of the WORST interview experiences I ever had in my life. First off, I agree with other reviews that the company is in a sketchy location. Also if you read the description of the team members on the company website, you will notice none of them have been with the company over a year. That seemed kind of weird to me. I felt extremely uncomfortable during the entire interview. The lady that interviewed me was very aggressive and it felt more like an interrogation. If she wasn't satisfied with an answer, she would ask it again in a rude tone. I felt frazzled and was tripping over my words. It's very unprofessional to try to intimidate a candidate. Also she couldn't answer half of my questions about the position. It was a complete waste of my time.
