I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at JCPenney (Poughkeepsie, NY) in Jun 2019
Interview
Brought into a room where standard interview questions were asked (why JCPenney, biggest flaw, etc.). Was given the impression that I was another body to enter the revolving door of seasonal workers, which is fine if that's what you're looking for. You can get the impression that you're being hired during the interview. Just be clear about when you anticipate not being able to work. The location I worked at could not remember the specific dates I clearly told the interviewer and watched them write down.
Super easy and quick process I interviewed with four people back in the days. This was my first job it was absolutely fun and it taught me how to become more social and responsible.
was good, quick and to the point, was an interview for a different position but they had filled it so just did the regular cashier position and worked that out which was nice
easy they ask you simple multiple choice answers that are pretty easy to guess which one is correct. They were easy to talk to too. at least at my location. It was a hiring event which prob explains it
