I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at JCPenney
Interview
I was chosen to interview through the career center at my university. The interview was very relaxed. My interviewer stated that this would be a relaxed interview and that she just really wanted to get to know me as a person. The first thing she asked is if I had any questions for her - so come prepared with at least 5-8 questions because they will ask this at the end as well. She pretty much just ran down my resume and asked questions about past projects and my experience with excel.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JCPenney (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2022
Interview
The interview process was standard 2-4 week process from screening interview to the final offer. Only 2 interviews, screening then interview with hiring manager. Standard questions for both. Both interviewers made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I also received genuine feedback after the interview with the hiring manager.

I applied online. I interviewed at JCPenney (Dallas, TX)
Interview
It took a really long time for them to get back to me after applying, months, I believe. However, from there on, they were good at communicating with me. They flew me to Dallas and booked me a hotel for the interview. Had a panel interview and gave a case study presentation to a group of employees.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at JCPenney in Sep 2019
Interview
The interview process was very smooth! The panel interview was very conversational rather than strict question/answer. Everybody seemed very knowledgeable as to what is expected from this candidate and didn't drift directions asking other things that weren't really connected to the role.
