Interview
I was so disappointed to get the normal overworked sales pitch you'd expect from a company like this. Its like the used car dealership of "marketing". Overly aggressive and unnecessarily flashy. The worst part is getting the first contact from them as text messages. In an industry that is all about person to person contact, its a limp way to start the process.
Everyone has an important sounding title. Director, Specialist, Executive. Fabulous. Any company I've ever been interviewed by a "director" for an entry level position was garbage. It's just theater. I'm aware that my review sounds very aggressive. I was just very disappointed.
It was seriously like sitting through an MLM or Timeshare presentation. A little too aggressive and totally missed the mark. If you need sales people then advertise for sales. Stop trying to dress up this pig and just call it what it is. You wasted my time and that really irked me.

Question 1
He mostly just spoke about himself and how successful he was. I stopped listening at some point.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JM Global Marketing (Miami, FL) in Aug 2018
Interview
Walked into a small office with about 10 other people sitting on the couch. The CEO and a sales rep played pool for 20 minutes and we all watched and waited instead of starting the interview process. After the CEO finished his game of pool he called us in one by one. The conversation was aggressive and rude. No matter what position you apply for you still do the same thing. Extremely vague online when I applied and now I understand why. He didn’t even explain the job description while I was in the interview. He said “I can do whatever I want.” I continued to ask about salary and the possibility of benefits which he mocked me and said, “why would you want benefits when you can make your own money with commission. And is money all you care about?” I was so taken aback by the rudeness and disrespect, but then he continued to ask me for a second interview and see me the following morning from 11am-7pm. I declined.

Honestly can’t even remember any question. All I remember is his condescending attitude

Marketing Executive Interview
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at JM GLOBAL MARKETING (San Antonio) in August 2018
Interview
I applied online and quickly scheduled an interview for the next day.
I scheduled an interview for the Hiring Manager, but when I walked in they told me instead the CEO, Jose, would be interviewing me because of my resume.
I had no prior marketing experience, but quickly rose through the ranks of my previous job and a nonprofit organization.
We went back and forth asking questions and debating the company before Jose called in another Manager and told him to bring me a contract and the final interview form, and that I was immediately hired no ifs-ands-or-buts.
The next day I joined, and after one day of training I was all set and on my way!
Since joining I’ve learned my process was not normal and that the interview goes in stages. First is a 20 minute interview where you ask all the questions and the manager details the company. The second is an observation day where you learn everything from a team leader, and the third is a final “test” to show you understood what you learned. The only thing people are asked for is to bring a smile, a can-do attitude, and a lunch for the observation day.
