I applied through college or university. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Columbus, OH) in May 2014
Interview
I submitted my resume when chase is recruiting at OSU, and then a campus interview is scheduled. The HR basically went through my resume with me, asked me a few questions about my PhD research, and asked some questions about my knowledge about their company. Then here comes the on site interview. The process is long, but everything goes well. I was asked question about probability, c++ coding, all of them are very easy, as long as you pay attention to the Professor in the class (I mean for CS students)

Question 1
puzzle questions were from brainstellar, one was the amoeba one in which there is p probability to get spilt .Hence find prob for extinction of that spieces.
My experience is mixed, it was great with some interviewers, but not with the others. Usually focused on textbook examples which interviewers themselves did not seem to care about. Overall, the scheduling was a nightmare, as many recruiters did not respond proactively..
Interviews online, starting with the hiring manager, then a sequence of interviews of 45min. Maths and probabilities questions, team-specific knowledge as well. Easy coding question - describe the approach; explain some programming concepts.
