I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Jersey City, NJ) in May 2025
Interview
The entire interview process took about 4-5 weeks from the moment I first received an interview interest from them, but I only had one interview with them. It 2 weeks for the first round to happen because they canceled on me the first time the same day a couple hours before my interview and I was scheduled for my second round when the same thing happened--they canceled on me again the same day a couple hours before. Their reason was that they already had an offer out for someone and wished me luck on my search! I thought the entire process was quite unprofessional for such a large company. Needless to say, I was disappointed in JPMC.

Question 1
I don't quite remember exactly since this was a while ago but I do vaguely remember them asking me about React hooks (the position was for UI/React) like useRef and to explain them further.
I applied online. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Kuala Lumpur) in Mar 2026
Interview
The interview was with a project owner that overseas the APAC region, only 30 minutes was allocated for the meeting. The interviewer asked about my current job background, basic questions related to banking, and questions about my experience.
Probably the worst experience I had so far, the interviewer always interrupted when I spoke, he gave very little time for each question, demanded for brief and short answers, he would made his own assumptions to fill up the missing pieces in my brief answers, and he would be annoyed when I tried to correct his assumptions. Nonetheless, I already perceived a mass red flag during the interview from this person, as his personality gave off a very typical ego managerial vibe.
