I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at JUXT (Milton Keynes, England) in Mar 2018
Interview
1) Video interview which was a very nice experience which consisted of the following:
- A brief introduction about the company and the tech stack they use which is built around Clojure (Which is awesome!!!).
- Asked me about my university studies, experience and why I wanted to be a developer.
- Asked me what I knew about functional programming which they explained I will be working with.
2) Invited me to an assessment day which was a full day:
- Welcomed me, showed me around the office, invited me to a game of foosball with one of the founders (in which I was destroyed :( ).
- Helped me set-up my development environment and asked to do some coding challenges which were fun.
- Did some pair-programming with another applicant which was a very interesting experience.
- Went to lunch with the other developers where they explained the types of projects they were working on as well as discussing what I've worked on and why I would like to work with them (All expenses were covered by them :) ).
- Went out for drinks at the end of the day which was nice as well.
All in all, it was a very pleasant experience and I'm gutted that I was not able to take the job but would definitely recommend as it was the best job interview/assessment experience I've had.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at JUXT (Milton Keynes, England) in Sep 2017
Interview
Video interview with the directors of the company, no technical questions here they just wanted to know more about me (and vice versa).
Then a full day at their technology center in Milton Keynes. Transport and lunch were covered by JUXT and the day consisted of meeting the Milton Keynes team, finding out more about the projects they are currently working on and trying to solve some medium difficulty programming problems on codewars. Finally I had a one to one interview with the managing director. Overall atmosphere was very welcoming and I did not feel under pressure.
