Jaco Oil interview questions

I visited Irvine UC to meet the recruiter for an interview. Was selected after a conversation. Had multiple calls over compensation. Had mail discussions over when to start work and what needs to be done. Was assigned work of reading books about oil industry. After no messages for a week, Got a message at Handshake, from where this whole thing started, that they can't proceed with the offer any more.
