I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Jacquette Consulting (Exton, PA) in Mar 2017
Interview
Phone interview with HR. My feel was that she was trying to act young to target younger people. In person interview at the place. They had cubicles and it didn't look young at all. It was kinda messy. Finally had me do the battleship code. I highly doubt anybody ever finishes it. Promptly exited out the door. Never called or emailed. Definitely a more self centered company from what I got from them.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jacquette Consulting (Malvern, PA) in Feb 2015
Interview
I was first contacted for a phone interview, and then invited for a technical test / in person interview. The phone interview went well, and I could tell they try their best to give off "young" vibe, almost to the point of it seeming gimmicky. This over the top effort may be more true toward someone who is coming out of college, such as myself. The staff seemed really pleasant and helpful, however when I didn't pass the technical test (command line battleship in your preferred language - tweaking existing code), I was abruptly escorted out with no communication from the developer who gave me the test. I was given the line "we think you're really cool, but..."
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I can't remember anything in particular from the phone interview, it was pretty typical. I didn't make it to the in person interview.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Jacquette Consulting in Jan 2014
Interview
The hiring process was very straight forward. I applied online and then had a short phone interview. After that I was called in for a technical test which was editing existing code and then another interview with a developer that worked there. The next and I believe last step is to meet with the CEO but I didn't pass the technical test so I'm not sure exactly.
