Earlier it was good. Professors used to conduct demo classes and take decisions regarding hiring. Now HR takes interviews without bothering to inform subject professors, and even the Head of Department.

Interview with the Vice chancellor, Department advisor and the HR. Technical econometrics related questions. Very helpful panel. They value academic culture. More focused on teaching related questions. The University follows the UGC norms.

It was relatively smooth and the interview panel was respectful. Overall experience was good. I would recommend this job to aspiring educators who want to make it in the field of education.
