I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Jaywing (Leeds, England) in Jun 2024

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jaywing (Leeds, England) in Apr 2021
Interview
After applying for the role. I received a hastily constructed email response from the MD requesting that I put together a presentation for my first interview.
The MD didn't even turn up to my interview nor did I receive notification of their absence. After receiving immediate positive feedback post my presentation during the interview. I received nothing but radio silence in terms of next steps. Upon chasing for a 3rd time, I received a garbled response from the MD informing me that for no apparent reason they would not be continuing with my application.
Let it be noted that I'm British Asian and the site does not feature a single ethnic minority on the website.. Even in companies where representation from the BAME community is low, they always find a way to feature an ethnic minority on their website. I felt that I was in the interview process for HR purposes only and no matter how I performed - I was never going to have a chance of succeeding in such an old hat company culture. take a look at the senior leadership team.. diverse is not a word I would use to describe them.
