The entire interview and hiring process took 3 months. There was an initial interview with the Creative Director. The common interview questions were asked. No surprises there. It went well and a second interview happened a couple of weeks later. This was with the Vice President of Operations. I was warned it wouldn't be the usual type of interview and to be prepared.
The second interview with the VP of Operations was a lot of questions about how I thought I might fit in with their process and how quickly I could get up to speed with their needs even though the position I was interviewing for was new and didn't even have any job description or responsibilities written. She never asked me about my experience or my qualifications. She seemed more interested in a warm body to fill a position rather than a qualified individual. It was very bizarre.
