Interview
As with all teaching positions, the place was understaffed and high pressure. Working with the kids and parents was a wonderful experience, the owner of the company was a huge advocate for me when I had issues with another teacher being disrespectful and irresponsible (they let that teacher go), but I could've used more than the occasional pizza party to boost morale. I loved working here and had to leave because of the very little pay for my experience in addition to the stress from working at the beginning of covid, wildfire smoke, and concerning issues at the waterfront park.
Overall, I loved that job. I would've stayed if they paid a livable wage.

I had a Zoom interview first with an administrator, then was invited to a working interview in the school. I met with staff that I would work with, was invited to ask questions and allowed them a chance to ask me questions. I spent some time interacting with kids in the program and then got a full tour of the facility.
