The head of account management reached out to me and scheduled an informational interview for the purpose to get to know each other and see if it was a potential fit. I sat down with him and his department co-lead to chat. The conversation went well. He liked to talk so I listened and absorbed all the background info, current needs and concerns, culture, etc. When I had the floor I went through my background of experience, portfolio highlights and what I'm looking for in the Minneapolis market (just moved from California).
Next steps were discussed including an interview with their CEO and taking some sort of strength finder test. We left on a good note and I followed up with both leads to thank them for their time and to see when we could schedule the next interview. But they went dark. Completely silent. I even followed up a second time. No response. It's now been 10 days since our in person chat and they have not followed up. Quite unprofessional. I was groomed early in my career to always tie up loose ends even if it's to end the conversation/process. It's just good business. Unfortunately Knock does not do that. Nice people who lack communication skills. Disappointed but glad to have a point of reference for the shop.
Separate notes on office: Nice interior. Smaller. Located just outside downtown Minneapolis. In a residential/commercial split area.
