Overall, I had 5 steps during the interview process:
1) Introduction round with an HR specialist (remote)
2) Introduction round with a Hiring Manager/my future manager (remote)
3) Coding assignment (home assignment)
4) Meeting with a Hiring Manager and the Team + Cultural interview
5) Final decision (remote)
Although it might seem quite ubiquitous, the whole interview process was very condensed and relatively fast. It took me only two months between the application and the final decision (considering the fact that I had a vacation in between). I had no feeling of being uncomfortable with the people who interviewed me. I had the opportunity to talk to other employees to get to know the company better. Therefore, I didn't have the impression that something is concealed from me that I'd get to know only when I start working. The coding assignment reflected well the work I'd need to do and I really enjoyed doing it. Although there was a deadline, I was allowed to extend it because of my vacation.
Overall, I had a very positive experience. The people were very friendly and open. The job description and the actual technology stack was very attractive. Therefore, after the interview, I had very little doubt about not joining the team.
