Applied online and did an online assessment. Waited for a couple of weeks and received an email confirming I passed the online assessment and was progressed further to an assessment centre.

Tell me about yourself? How does our values align with yours?
Nach der Online-Bewerbung für Graduate Audit Insurance erhielt ich eine E-Mail mit der Einladung zu einem zeitversetzten Videointerview. Den Zeitpunkt konnte ich frei wählen. Vor dem Start gab es technische Hinweise und allgemeine Interviewtipps (Kleidung, Vorbereitung, Kamera-/Toncheck). Das Interview bestand aus 4 vorab sichtbaren Fragen, jeweils mit ca. 1,5–2 Minuten Vorbereitungs- und Aufnahmezeit. Zwei Fragen waren auf Englisch, zwei auf Deutsch, mit Fokus auf Persönlichkeit, Motivation und einer aktuellen Entwicklung im Finanzmarkt.

Für mich war die wichtigste Frage: „Why should we invite you to interview for this job?” – weil sie klar zeigt, worauf KPMG im Graduate Audit Insurance Programm besonders Wert legt: Motivation, Passung und Verständnis für die Rolle.

Interview
I had a 1-hour Zoom meeting with a representative from the company, and I found the person to be very friendly and professional throughout our conversation. During the meeting, we discussed various aspects of the role, the company's culture, and how my background and skills align with the position. I also took the opportunity to ask a few questions about their expectations and potential growth opportunities within the company.
Although the meeting seemed positive at the time, it took them a long time to respond after our discussion. Unfortunately, I was later informed that I had not been selected for the role. While it was disappointing, I appreciate the chance to learn more about the organization and use this experience to improve for future opportunities.
