Kansas City Public Library interview questions

I completed an application and a short phone interview, and then I went to the library to interview in person with 4 panelists. They asked me questions about my experiences, as well as some behavioral questions. I felt in general that the people I spoke to would be good to work with and genuinely wanted to get to know me. However, there was one person who arrived late while I was answering a question. This threw me off a bit, and it unfortunately raised some red flags about their professionalism and respect for my time. Overall, I am still glad I attended this interview, as I was able to learn about the role and gain interviewing experience.

The phone interview was lengthy and I talked with a panel of other librarians. Job description was reviewed first and questions about that were encouraged. Asked to explain all experiences in library services to children.
