Interview
Good interview questions, and a nice approach to my CV. They asked me about my journey so far and what I want to achieve through the role. Interested in both my skillset and the extracurricular activities I have done like volunteering etc

Interview
I went through a three-stage interview process for a Tech Recruiter position. While they refrained from asking legally restricted questions (age, family, residence), they repeatedly made ironic comments about it, combined with sarcastic remarks like “we’re Google from Lidl” or “work is like a marriage”, highlighting a somewhat dated and inconsistent culture.
The salary range and benefits were not communicated upfront, and only after several interviews did it become clear what was offered. Perks such as a snack bar and an internal gym were only mentioned during the final stage, with no prior information provided. The company promotes a remote-first culture, but onsite presence three times a week is expected, and calls or messages outside standard hours suggested blurred professional boundaries.
Overall, the process reflects a conventional working culture with limited transparency on role's seniority and compensation.

Question 1
They asked if I would be available for travel, client dinners, and to cover roles outside of tech if needed.
These expectations contrast with the company’s promoted ‘remote-first’ culture.
