The interview itself was supposed to be over Zoom, however I was rescheduled to interview in person. Upon showing up at the building, I was greeted by two call center reps who informed me that I needed to sign in, which I did. I was greeted a few moments later by Elias, who handed me a piece of paper with a different job description than what I was originally informed of. I was then escorted upstairs to an interview room where I met with two interviewers who were present via Zoom and one in person. I was not given any chance to introduce myself or present my skills, the conversation went directly into on-the-job questions and scenarios, to which I stumbled over. I made it very clear that I'd been on the other side of claims processing for 5 years, and had never worked in the actual claims processing side of insurance. They proceeded to ask questions to which I had no answers, which made me feel very inadequate. The interview ended quickly, and I was escorted back downstairs. It could have gone better but I will say the building is actually gorgeous, and all the employees I encountered had a smile on their face.
