On June 3rd, I was thrilled to receive a message from the country manager expressing interest in interviewing me for a position. Without hesitation, I promptly accessed the scheduling link provided and eagerly secured an interview slot for June 11th, opting for the earliest available time at 9:10 am. Despite the anticipation, I understood the necessity of patience in such processes.
The day before the scheduled interview, a thoughtful reminder popped up, preparing me for the upcoming engagement. On the morning of June 11th, an hour before the designated time, another notification served as a gentle nudge, prompting me to ready myself. Adhering to the advice offered in the reminder, I arrived 10 minutes early, fully prepared and eager to make a positive impression.
However, despite my punctuality and readiness, I found myself waiting for 25 minutes without any sign of the scheduled interview. This experience left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. As professionals in the field of Human Resources, such oversights are unbecoming and reflect poorly on the organization's commitment to respecting candidates' time and efforts. Job seeking is already a challenging endeavor, both mentally and emotionally, and such disregard only adds unnecessary strain. It is my sincere hope that this feedback serves as a constructive reminder of the importance of honoring commitments and treating all applicants with the professionalism and courtesy they deserve.
