I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Knott's Berry Farm in May 2017
Interview
Applied online & was requested to come in for a screening interview right away. It was one on one, and they just asked why I wanted to work there, my availability, what good customer service means to me, any piercing/tattoos, and what all workers should have (a smile!). Then, the interviewer told me she would like to move me on to the 2nd interview. So I went back outside and waited for another 30 minutes to be called in for the group interview.
The group interview has 5-6 other people in the room with 2 interviewers. We introduced ourselves and the department we applied for and why. Then, we played 2 truths 1 lie, got asked trivia questions, and scenarios questions. Afterwards, they moved us into a waiting room and called us by departments we wanted to work in into a different room and asked if we have any questions or comments and the told us we got the job & then filled out paper work.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Knott's Berry Farm (Buena Park, CA) in Jul 2014
Interview
Come in and fill out an application. Interview is on the spot. If they tell you they will call you, that usually means you didnt get the job. If they tell you when your second interview is, then you are one step closer! Second interview you meet with the department manager. REMEMBER TO SMILE!
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Knott's Berry Farm in Apr 2017
Interview
I applied online, same day got an email that said to go to Center for an in person interview. Two weeks later went to interview, fairly easy questions and interviewer tried to make me as comfortable as possible. Was then scheduled for a group interview, a group of about 7 other people were being interviewed at the same time with 1 Knotts worker as host and 2 in back taking notes.
In person interview was short maybe about 15-20 minutes that goes over basics of what jobs you could interview for, and why you would work for the company. Was asked on spot when I could come back for a group interview.
Group interview was longer at about 30-45 minutes plus another 10 minutes of waiting to find out if I got the job same day. I did! Was then sent to a centre to get a drug test and accepted position online!
I accepted originally however due to me graduating high school and my college being in the opposite direction of about a 45 minute drive I called and switched my acceptance to decline.
Group interview: If a child was lost what would you do?, If you only had to bring 2 items to a deserted island what would you bring?, What would you do if a guest walked up to ask for help during your break?, What would you do if you are approached by a guest who lost an important item (ie. Wallet, Id, Phone, ect.) How do you ensure that this item belongs to the guest?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Knott's Berry Farm (Buena Park, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
So this was a two step interview, I first went to the employment center to sign in, they had me wait outside for 10 or so minutes until my name is called, this lasy was interviewing me and asked me questions like if i had any tattoos and why I wanted to work at knotts. I actually got through the first interview so she invited me for a second interview which was thursday, the second interview was a group interview. We had to wait outside until everyone who are doing the group interview is called, then they had us go into a room and some of the hirging team was there, nice people. The girl asked everyone to pic a plush, then had us introduce ourselves to everyone, why we want to work at knotts, what position we applied for and what not. Then we were split into two groups, each group had to come up with 3 things they have to bring at an island. Then they handed us scenarios and we also had to come up with what we would do for the scenario. Then after that we were sent to this room and had to wait for our named to be called one by one for a one on one interview but unfortunately I did not get the job but hopefully I can apply again when I turn 18!
