I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Konrad Group (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2018
Interview
Had a phone screening with HR and then after the interview on the phone, the interviewer asked when I could come in. The next interview was a portfolio presentation - it was pretty standard and easy to get through.
After a few days, I was invited into the office to do a design challenge (from 10am to 6pm and you have to present your challenge afterwards to some managers or designers). It was pretty hard to try to do everything at once since they asked for some user research, low-fi wireframes, hi-fi screens, and a presentation afterwards. Kind of felt unorganized cause I had no idea what was going on until after the whiteboarding session and I was pretty much at a desk the entire time trying to cram everything in the time I had.
Laidback and supportive. You feel like you are interacting with real people who have lives and passions within the company but also outside of it. The person that interviewed me was easy to talk to and felt like he was really there to get ot know you.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Konrad Group (New York, NY) in Jan 2022
Interview
I did a 30-min phone screen interview. The questions were typical and nothing unexpected. Future rounds include portfolio reviews and a design challenge.
Recruiter said they will check if Konrad accepts my work authorization. I followed up twice, they always said they would have an answer in a few days. Never got a reply after a month and just gave up.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Konrad Group (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2020
Interview
After I applied, there was an initial screening call around 2 months later. After this, the process was pretty fast-paced. There was a portfolio review with 2 senior designers and then an 8 hour virtual design challenge around 2 weeks after.
