Candidates beware: this hiring process is misleading, unprofessional & non-genuine. I was approached by a recruiter for a role I never applied for, which itself was unusual. Despite this, I went through two technical interview rounds—one with a Senior PM and another with the Hiring Manager—both conducted within a week. I cleared all interview rounds and was explicitly asked to share documents and complete all formalities required to roll out an offer. I even visited their office as part of this process.
After this, I followed up with HR for nearly two weeks and received no clear communication. Out of nowhere, I was informed that the position had been put on hold or scrapped. This entire experience was a complete waste of my time and demonstrates a highly unprofessional, misleading, and non-genuine hiring process. Reaching out to candidates for roles that are not finalized is unacceptable.
