The interview process went well up until I was GHOSTED by a member of their Talent Acquisition team. The initial call/phone screen was a positive experience in that my background/experience lined up very well with the position that I was interviewing for. The call was left with the expectation that I was going to be moved along in the process. Unfortunately, that never happened. The question might be asked as to why didn't I (as the candidate) follow up? The answer to that is simple, because; 1) the ball was on their court, 2) the last thing a recruiter wants is a pushy/impatient candidate, and 3) if they REALLY wanted me, they would have continued to pursue me.
If a candidate isn't selected, for whatever the reason, PLEASE PLEASE give them the courtesy of letting them know. LAZ Parking's recruitment practices are a terrible reflection on the HR/Recruitment professional, the HR/Recruitment department and the organization.
Based on my experience, the Talent Acquisition team definitely DOES NOT uphold two of the core values (Commitment to People and Respect) that LAZ Parking claims to adhere by.
There is definitely room for improvement and an opportunity for training for the Talent Acquisition team and LAZ Parking to get this process corrected.
