As an Equal Opportunities employer all candidates were asked to deliver the same presentation on their vision for development in the role and expected to answer the same set of questions over an hour to a panel drawn from across the organisation and one external practitioner. All aspects of dealing with the health, safety and development of young people were explored to assess experience and knowledge of the process of community education practice and value base around an emancipatory process to youth progression. A in depth knowledge of the challenges faced uniquely by LGBT young people expected, as well as an activist stance in relationship to LGBT equality.
