I recently interviewed for a role at LVT and wanted to share my experience for those who might be preparing.
The process began with a recruiter reaching out, and we had an initial conversation that lasted about an hour. This call was a mix of getting to know my background, discussing the role, and gauging alignment.
Next was a technical interview, which covered a wide range of topics. Expect both theoretical questions about your knowledge and practical coding challenges. I highly recommend preparing with platforms like LeetCode or CoderPad, but don’t stop at just solving problems — go deeper. Be ready to explain how you would test your solutions and think through edge cases and quality assurance strategies. That part matters more than you think.
The final round was an in-person interview, scheduled for no more than three hours. It included conversations with the potential management chain as well as other team members. This portion focused on tools, testing strategy, and how you approach collaboration and ownership.
A few days after the onsite, I was fortunate to receive and accept an offer.
My advice:
• Be yourself.
• Be ready to push yourself to learn and show curiosity.
• Bring an owner’s mindset — that attitude really aligns with their culture.
• And remember: You got this!
