I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at La Jolla Kayak (San Diego, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
Very informal interview, asked questions regarding water safety and knowledge of the ocean. After a quick interview I was taken to an open water test to see kayak skills and how I could handle being in the ocean.
I was first selected for a group interview then I sat down with Michael and had a quick chat about the ins and the outs of being a tour guide. Was straight forward.
