I applied for the Manager, Credit & Collections role in early 2025 and underwent a six-interview process, including meetings with the hiring manager (twice) and four C-level executives. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive—I was told I was a top finalist (down to myself and one other candidate) and that my 15+ years of experience was an excellent fit.
However, after being informed a decision was imminent, I received radio silence for a week, followed by a vague voicemail stating they were “moving in another direction with other candidates.” When I requested feedback (via email and phone), I received no response.
Note for candidates: The company is primarily owned by a private equity firm, and the C-suite leadership team has since completely turned over. While the interviewers were professional, the lack of follow-through post-rejection suggests cultural growing pains. If you proceed, be prepared for a lengthy process with unclear communication at the finish line.
