Interview
3 interviewers ask you questions about technical knowledge on land administration and valuation. Also, questions about current affairs concerning land matter were asked. The whole process takes around 25 mins.
A face to face interview is arranged. Interview questions mainly in English , with self introduction, and a few questions to be answered. The whole process is around 10-15 minutes.

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Lands Department (Hong Kong) in Jun 2021
Interview
I was greeted by 3 Estate Surveyors, one of them Senior, in a small meeting room. The interview was mostly in English but the final questions were in Chinese. The interview lasted 10 minutes, although with some candidates it can last up to 15. I heard from the grapevine that 170+ people competed for about 15 seats.
