Interview
I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter about a week afterwards for a 3 hour coding/behavioral virtual interview. First interviewer made condescending remarks when I couldn’t follow his cursor on the screen. The next interviewer left the room twice to answer a phone call — the third time he didn’t bother to excuse himself and just answered it in front of me with no apology. Third, in the final round one of the two interviewers showed up 7 minutes late without any apology and then proceeded to text on her phone while I was answering her questions. Mid interview, she turned off her camera and was absent for about 15 minutes. It was humiliating and disheartening to have to sit through the entire interview conducted by senior employees who did not reciprocate the respect I had given them.

Other Software Engineer Interview Reviews for Latch
They sent over an online assessment that was like an IQ test, It wasn't related to anything software engineering related. After I completed the test, they sent a rejection email. I felt like the assessment was pointless since it doesn't test your software engineering skills.

Interview
Had a call with Recruiter then tech screen. The tech screen was very weird because it was very short. We went over my background and he had me build an exponential function.
It was strange because once we completed it and covered all the cases, he cut it early. It did not seem organized or structured at all.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Build an exponential function. This was really weird? If you're not using built in Math methods, this doesn't take long? The interviewer cut it extremely short.
