I was contacted by 3rd party staffing/recruiting company Vice President. I interviewed with her then I did a phone interview with Director of HR at LeapFrog Services. I was invited into office and interviewed with Director of HR and CSO. Interviewed for about an hour then toured the office. We all seemed to hit it off really well. I liked them and they seemed to like me. I took a Talent Quest personality test. I can only assume at this point that I was not a good fit for their organization based upon the test results. I understand as I am a Predictive Index Practitioner and I understand making sure you hire the right person for the job.
My problem is that I followed up with 3rd party recruiter multiple times. It has been 8 weeks and she has not returned any of my calls. LeapFrog Services needs to be aware of this as this is a reflection on them. Put yourself in my shoes. Get back to candidates quickly with feedback. Don't leave candidates hanging. Grant them closure. A little empathy and respect goes a long way. You need to make sure your recruiting process is more humane but putting “human” back into human resources.
