Question 1
How much time did it take for you to implement the home assignment
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lendo in Jul 2022
Interview
There were two interviewers during the technology interview. One oguy was cool , he asked smart questions and willing to guide you about what he was really looking for. However, the other guy was
not prepared at all. Or at least he never looked the code before joining the interview. The first question he asked was why did I split the server into two instead of one ( the assignment asked interviewees to do so just to show case) course it made no sense to him. And instead of going through the whole code base, he constantly pick any small things and started nagging, as he won't let them go.
In the end we didn't even have an a chance to go through the second server because he was nagging about one should use a slice of struct instead of a slice of pointers to struct.
In general, didn't feel this guy respect the time you spent on the assignment, and didn't ask valuable questions but just nagging.
